Yes. One of Stop Hunger Now's goals is to work to disburse restricted funds to the designated geographic area of need. After weighing the facts and circumstances of a particular situation, Stop Hunger Now may determine that it is in the best interests of the organization to utilize the funds in an area other than the designated geographic area. In the past Stop Hunger Now has provided and supported a number of different programs other than food, such as medical programs, well projects, agricultural programs and micro-credit projects to help women start their own business. Since 2001, our focus has centered on providing emergency food and medical aid and supporting food programs in poverty-stricken areas.
